The location was acceptable. Several restaurants and bars were nearby.

My room had a strange smell. It persisted even after using the air conditioning or opening the window. This was unpleasant. The price was not justified. I expected more for what I paid.

Fantastic Location and Excellent Service

convenient location friendly staff rooftop bar

I found the location very convenient, especially for exploring the city (Long Street is very close). The staff were friendly and helpful. Their service. I really enjoyed the rooftop bar, it has great views of the city and Table Mountain.

The room had a slightly strange smell upon arrival. It lingered even after using the air conditioning. I wish the hotel had addressed it sooner.

helpful staff room upgrade mountain view dirty pool area dirty jacuzzi basic decoration

the staff were very helpful. they upgraded my room upon arrival! i received a room with a balcony. it overlooked the mountain.

The pool area seemed dirty. the jacuzzi also looked very dirty. the decoration in the room was basic. There was nothing special about the furniture

the staff was helpful when i needed extra towels i didn't have to wait long for them i suppose

i found that the pool area was not cleaned properly there was always debris floating on the surface and the jacuzzi jets seemed weak it was rather disappointing i also noticed that the room's mini fridge was not cooling effectively my drinks never got properly cold that affected my stay and it was frustrating

mountain view staff support

i found the rooftop bar perfect with its fine mountain view and a gin and tonic. the staff showed support as i ran the two oceans race, their encouragement before and after meant a lot to me. i appreciated a little g&t while looking over table mountain each night.

i ate each night in the hotel restaurant, it offered a bistro menu, not a buffet, and it may take 30 minutes to get your breakfast. the variety at breakfast suited me well and i enjoyed everything i tasted there.

the staff was always available, offering 24-hour assistance and a friendly smile. they were helpful and gracious and acted like co-owners, very supportive when i did the two oceans race. their kindness.
